    I reviewed this too... and in there I said that I'm getting used to the art by now, the problem is that now that I am used to the art on the next issue the artist will be changed for two issues... so! 
     
    Plus I still say the Mysterio vs Spider-Man story could've benn told in just 2 issues and get it over with... 
     
    But yeah the reveal of the Shroud was the highlight in this issue!

    Y'know the Ultimate universe never quite sold me. I gave up on it quite a while ago but G-Man does do a good job of selling it. Specially with that mystery character in the red hood...I might have to pick this up or at least scope it out next time I'm in the comic shop.
     
    Peter kinda looks like a girl on the cover though.

    I agree, I was suprised when the Shroud's true self was shown, I didn't see that one coming. Also on side not: The video still won't play for me... :(

    I've been out of the loop with the Ultimate series for a while, but wasn't Gwen Stacy the Ultimate Universe Carnage and die a few times?

    She died once, but was brought back in the story arc that came right before the Ultimatum arc that ended the first run of this series.

    No, it just keeps saying "Loading..." but won't load the video, I'm not sure why it's doing this though, I just watched the review to Siege: Embedded and it worked fine with that video.

    Who is the Red hooded Man!! O_o LOL love the Ultimate series, never liked it last year but when Ultimatum came out I got intrested in it. I think my favorite Ultimate Character so far is Hawkeye,Spider-man, and Iceman

    YAY!!! It works for me now! :D Great review G-Man, I have to say that people have been hating the fact that Spidey look like a kid, but truthfully, it really deosn't bother me, I mean back when the thir Annual came out and I saw the art, I loved it, and I'm loving this book, it's probably the best Spidey title out and it's just right there on top. If you like Spider-Man, you like something new and fresh, and has all kinds of great Spidey stories, if you like those things, then I recommend you pick this up, you won't be let down.

    I know, but she has yet to appear in the new series, so we'll have to wait until then to see what Bendis is planning on doing with her.

    Wow, I gave up Ultimate universe after they killed Cyclops, but this is a good stuff, maybe the new next avenger here (under the same roof and all that)?

    This series was disapointing for me and especialy as a mysterio fan because this series dragged so much that I still did get enough of mysterio. He was badass and cool here but a lot of talking. A robot from him as the grand final fight man come on already. However I there are at least two issues out this whole series that I thouhgt had the most mysterio juice and fight. That was 3 and 5 in which I bought. Luckly for me there are more mysterio stuff coming in the other spidey arcs going right now so I think that will satisfy me and make it up.

    BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS needs to use this as a template for a SPIDER-MAN FILM reboot.  This book is AWESOME!!

    I love how each issue of this book has had a little story and a little bit of action.  Lafuente's art style is fun and fits this book so well.  I really liked Johnny freaking out about his hair, it just seemed to fit the character so well. 
     
    I think I have to disagree with most, I feel like there is plenty of story in this book and I was a little surprised when they revealed The Hood so early (I'm not sure if they are suppose to be the Ult. Version of The Hood, but that's what I'm going with).  That is something Bendis could have dragged on for a while. 
     
    The Spider-Man and his Amazing friends vibe is pretty funny.  That house is at maximum capacity, but I would like to see them bring back Jessica Drew at some point.  I really feel that character was dropped and forgotten after Ultimatium.

    Ultimate Spider-Man is on of my Must-Read books. I took a chance on it when it first started and I have never been disappointed or let down by it.  
     
    I am letting LaFuente's art grow on me. It's a big change from Bagley. In some places it works and in some places it looks a little flat. The art isn't a deal-breaker by any means, it's just takes some getting used to. I like that Peter and Spider-Man have a supporting cast. I've always been a fan of Spider-Man and the Human Torch. I like adding Bobby Drake/Iceman, and Kitty. I'm not sure I'm sold on this new mystery hero, though. 
     
    I like what's going on with Gwen and MJ. I actaully like that Gwen is alive in the Ultimate Universe. I didn't read Ultimatum, so I'm kinda lost a little bit...what happened to the Jessica clone? Is she the same Jessica that MJ is working with on the school news team? Were all the clones eliminated?  
     
    It is very cool that rogues like Mysterio are getting amped up a bit from lame-status by Bendis.

    Peter has a lot of things to deal with gwen was his true love he could not save her in the end he is still haunted no matter what he says about it.
