A magic message written in runes summons Harlan Draka and his old Icelandic double, Egil-one-hand to Iceland. In the past, Egil and the blond witch Gudrun helped young wizard Galdra Loftur to steal the tenebrous grimoire Raudskinna, the “book of red skin”! Now, following the tracks of the kidnappers of the bishop of Reykjavik, who left a whiff of brimstone behind themselves, Harlan and Gudrun Finngadottir travel to the interior of Iceland, where there was one of the entrances to the mysterious University of Hell.
