The Solution find themselves in Los Angeles to meet with a potential client. Tech brings up the idea of going public to get more business, but the rest of the Solution oppose that idea. They come to a tense agreement that Tech alone will go public and just state that she has a capable team behind her. After the discussion, Outrage decides that he needs some time to himself and a taxi driver takes him to an amusement park. There he is met by Harmonica, a man who has attempted to kill Outrage before because of his Darkurian heritage. They fight in public but are stopped by the police. Thankfully, Shadowmage arrives to help Outrage and Harmonica makes his escape. Outrage and Shadowmage meet up with the rest of the Solution to meet their client, the Altnerate. The Alternate introduces the Solution to their new partners for her mission, Hardcase and Choice.
