The Singularity is one of three entities that create all that is in the universe. In the beginning was the void. A space formed in the void as a womb, known as the Dreamer. The point that formed in the womb is the Singularity, a male entity that manifests all reality. The universe is formed from these three forces. The Singularity exists outside of space and time.
When the Silver Surfer wished to return Ellie Waters to Earth, he consulted the Singularity. The Singularity told the Surfer the child was protected.
