Currently, Ki-Lan has not been seen after Flashpoint. It is unknown whether or not she survived the relaunch. She was last seen during Geoff John's Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds where she was part of Superboy Prime's Legion of Super-Villains.

Origin

Original Continuity: New Earth

The Silver Slash was living on the planet Dryad when it was destroyed by a super-nova. The Dark Man convinced her and her fellow survivors that the Legion of Super-Heroes were responsible for the destruction of the planet. Wanting revenge on the Legion for what they did, they went after the Legion as the League of Super-Assassins. When the truth was revealed and Blok left the group, however she and a few others stuck to the life of crime.

Creation

Silver Slasher was created by Gerry Conway and debuted in July 1st 1979. . She made her first appearance in the DC Comics published series titled Superboy and The Legion of Super-Heroes, #253, Night of the Super-Assassins.

Character Evolution

Silver Slasher started working for vengeance, after she found the truth, she continued her evil ways. She works individually now, but will work with her old partners in the League of Super-Assassins or the Legion of Super-Villains.

Powers and Abilities

Silver Slashers mutation made her produce a metallic shell over her entire body which gave her enhanced protection from physical harm and other attributes. Her metallic skin also include her nails and hair making both extremely sharp and can slash through many substances. Since her metal form works as a form of suspension she does not need oxygen, water, of food for long periods of time.

Silver Slasher is also very fast and has been able to spin like a top at high speeds her nails pointing outward and slicing her enemies during combat. This is due to her near frictionless skin which the high velocities can occur.

She is also a ruthless hand-to-hand combatant and uses every moment of her attacks to slowly and painfully slash her enemy apart.

Metal Body: Silver Slasher has a metal body that provides protection from physical and energy attacks.

Claws: Silver Slasher uses the claws on her fingers as her main weapons. It's where she get the name Silver Slasher.
