Khyradon prays to the Saurian goddess of war, Khyalhtua (really the First named Yala), and asks for power. She grants it but tells him not to bother her again. At about the same time, Sam teleports to Khyradon and forces the two of them outside for a fight. Khyradon uses his new powers to bring a Saurian dreadnaught down on Sam. However, Sam survives and continues the fight.
Meanwhile, the Saurians launch a Sun Dampener missile at Gaia's sun. Sam launches a glacier into space to intercept it, causing it to fall back down to the planet where Khyradon postulates that it will kill them all.
