Siege begins as the hammer comes down hard and another falls

We all knew Osborn's time in power would never last forever and this seems to be the beginning of the end of Dark Reign. People have complained about Bendis' writing but doesn't disappoint here.
The story begins with Osborn staging an attack  on the Asgardian Volstagg who is wondering around helping people like Thor but doesn't understand that he is allot stronger than the average person is attacked by the U-Force causing the destruction of Soldier Field as well as parts of Chicago. This gives Osborn the reason he needs to launch an attack on Asgard with an army that consists of Hammer, the Hood's Gang, the Thunder Bolts, the Initiative as well as his own Dark Avengers. The President is angry with Osborn because he didn't give Norman the approval for this and starts to have doubts about him and Loki goes to warn Balder that Osborn is to mad and corrupt to stop and to prepare himself.Osborn tells his avengers that if they succeed they can all go their separate ways.Donald Blake who sees Norman's forces approaching and after thinking about Tony Stark's well being(who is lying in bed beside him recovering from the beating Osborn gave him at the end of worlds most wanted) transforms into Thor and charges straight for Osborn only to be attacked by the Sentry and after a hard battle Thor is defeated and Norman states that he is under arrest with the whole thing being broadcast live on T.V. The issue ends with Steve Rodgers watching the events dressed in his Captain America uniform ready for battle.
I give this issue of Siege 4.5 out of 5 stars because Olivier Coiple's art is fantastic and Bendis' writing is very well done but I do have some complaints like to me the story seems rushed jumping from one scene to another very fast and Coiple's scene with Cap at the very end has Cap looking constipated but you should still pick this up if you have been following Dark Reign or want to follow Osborn's downfall

      The Attack Is On 0

So i'm sitting here thinking, there's no way this can possibly be good. We all know who's going to come back... they're on the cover, right? Really, that is only the beginning. the war is on and so far Norman is off to a head start. This book contains little to no resistance against Osborn's army of super humans but does a great job setting things up and answering the question, of Norman really being a threat to Asgard.I really like the idea that I'm not asking who will die or who will be resurr...

      Great but kinda rushed 0

The moment I saw the ads in many other marvel comics like movie posters i thought: this is all a gimmick, much like the  fall of the hulks thing (i m not a fan of JRJR's recent works btw). however this time it made more sense; coipel's art and bendis' writing carry many filmic connotations to them. there's a great setting up and you can almost feel and see the action happening - the use of montage and other filmic techniques render something in and of itself fantastic into something almos...
