This question could be asked of any colour because, when it comes down to the basics, a colour is just a colour. That is, in the 'real' world at least, whereas I am sure you are aware Marvel is keen to add connotations to the colours of their character. Or their costumes, anyway. No matter what their colour it's still the person that it covers that matters; whether it be the person's personality or their physical appearance you like, you could change the colour of their skin and still have the same opinion of the character. So on that note it can be argued that it's not the colour green that we readers are attracted to, but rather the kind of people they put the colour on. As it's been mentioned, Poison Ivy and She-Hulk are fine examples of desirable green women, but their attraction may just be because of the stereotypical sexy appearance they are given. Whereas characters like the Man-Thing or the Leader are also green but they would not be labelled as a 'hot' character, and that could be said to be because of their lack of desirable features or their negative behaviour. However, we must recognise the significance of the colour green as it does appear to be a common choice when depicting hot women, especially in comics. Perhaps it's because the colour green is just attractive, at least to some people at least. Typically it's a colour of harmony and nature, even growth sometimes, which explains Poison Ivy as she has a strong bond with plants, and the She-Hulk because she has a clear growth about her - not just her body but as a character. She learns to love her new change, and becomes a more confident and fun person because of her green skin. Still, I think that the choice of colour is more to do with being different and standing out than actual sex appeal. Obviously we humans don't have green skin, so to see someone in that colour creates intrigue. It's interesting and shows that that person is different from us in some way. If everyone was the same colour then it would be a bit boring and with comics you have the freedom to experiment with people's skin colour beyond the normal spectrum of colours. If you can have people are green and blue and purple then go for it! Bringing this all back to a point (kind of) I think that green women are hot, but I think that's just because I find women hot. It helps that I also like the colour green but I am not prejudiced to women of that colour, just it's appealing.
