    Origin

    Shary Wingfield is married to Vance Wingfield, the leader of the terrorist group known as Strike First. She is the second in command of the group.

    Creation

    Shary was created by Larry Hama in 1982 for Marvel`s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic series.

    Character Evolution

    Shary appears in only one issue of the Marvel G.I. Joe series. She displays much more care and compassion to the trainees of Strike First and their families then her husband does. When she begins to see that Vance wishes to detonate a nuclear bomb beneath the base to fulfill his desire to start a world war, she shoots and kills him.
