    Shanzar as a great appetite for conquest and is determined to rule the world. He forged an alliance with a dark, elder god known as the Wild One. He planned to conjure the god from his banishment in exchange for power second only to his. He gained the assistance of Lucien Aster and was able to ploy the Defenders into assisting in his plans. He successfully released the Wild One, but never received his power.
