No More Mister Nice Devil: Shadowland #1

Ok first of all let me say, I love the art direction. Billy Tan is perfect for Shadowland. Second of all the ending was a long time coming. Daredevil killing Bullseye was the best ending to this book I could have dreamed of. For the most part this was as good as a first issue could possibly be. They let you know who the players where, they set up the first issue and the issues to come and we got some action in there. So Shadowland is basically a huge prison for Daredevil and the Hand's targets. Bullseye for some reason thought it was a good idea to go there and provoke DD to come out and fight. When he does..DD sends Hand Ninjas after him. That doesn't go over well so DD jumps in himself and kills Bullseye. Meanwhile the Avengers at the start kind of though Shadowland was a good idea but I wonder what they will say when Cage and Iron Fist tell them what Daredevil did?

There is still much that needs to be explained. What's wrong with Daredevil? Is he evil now? Is there someone controlling him? What's going to happen to the Kingpin and Lady Bullseye? Is Bullseye really dead?  and so on and so on. Overall it was a great book.

It has all the makings of a street level civil war, and this first issue sets the scene as Daredevil makes where he stands now very clear for the rest of the Marvel Universe.  I was originally disappointe...

      Shadowland Issue 1 0

Well I can safely say I didn't expect that. See, Daredevil is one of those comics I've tried to like. And I do. But with all the books I have every month to read I just can't find the time to start Daredevil, and the way I am with comics, I'd have to go back over a hundred issues to begin my Daredevil experience. As a result, I've only read one current continuity Daredevil comic ever, Daredevil's Dark Reign: The List special. As a follow up to that and as a Daredevil story in general, this is on...
