    Wilkinson says she also finds rich sources of inspiration from eclectic list of artists, writers and musicians such as Dave McKean, Frank Miller, Marilyn Manson, Alphonse Mucha, Simon Bisley, Olivia, Yumiko Kayukawa, Maynard James Keenan, Glenn Barr, Ron Howard, J. Scott Campbell, Matt Busch, System of a Down, Ridley Scott, Frank Cho, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, among others.

    "Ben Templesmith is my favorite comic artist," Wilkinson adds. "Drew Struzan is my favorite Star Wars artist, and my favorite Star Wars comic is the Dark Empire series."

    Sarah Wilkinson's profession before illustration was modeling, an example of this is in (writer) and Chris Ring's (artist) comic The Perfect Victim (2004), she became the official model for the main character Amanda Baker for the photo cover (*Note there currently is no variant cover picture available on comicvine).

    She also acted in the indie movie Conjure as the co-star. On the movie Conjure she applied her artistic abilities to help with editing and design for some of the ghosts.
