Of course I knew about it. I watched the entire series. IMO it's a mediocre anime, but I liked it because it's Witchblade.

Ok so I was watching IFC(Independent Film Channel) last night and saw that they were showing WitchBlade. Now I have never read the comic, but I am kinda familiar with it. The episode I watched last night was a pretty good one. I couldnt find anything on youtube for it but I did find something from the first season. I'm just curious if anyone else knew about it...

The episode I watched was something about Reina having to take care of a kid. And having another.. And someone was responsible for having all these hypergened kids or something like that.

i've watched a few episodes of it...

meh... it's nothing special, it's the usual post apocalyptic spin on the Witchblade story with a weird twist involving tentacles and children...

i watched 3 episodes then gave up and went back to the comics, if you're looking for a Witchblade series on TV, there's the live action one that was marginally better than the anime for keeping to the comics, but aside from that...

just stick with the comics :p

Methos, Yeah well I love Anime and for me to have never read the comics it is a pretty good show. Aside from it not relating really to the comic. For someone new to it all it would be a good show.. But for someone who knows well enough about the comics, like you, it doesnt fit in.

Sara is. But in the episode I watched last night. A company was trying to make more Witchblades. Hence the hypergened kiddies. One of them was a child of Reina. While Reina was taking over mothering a child that Reina had been raising.. But the kid looked more like Reina then Sara.

It's a very anime thing to super exaggerate breasts to the point where physics have no bounderies.

No, don't think it's really needed. Witchblade doesn't have a super large history so everything can pretty much be tossed in that main page.

they should do a proper Witchblade Cartoon, following the first major arc in the comics... with decent artwork as well... that would kick ass :D

I've only seen one episode of this show. And from what i have seen.. all the ladies have...large assets xP Is that an Anime thing or is it in the Comics as well?

I noticed it in other comics as well xP But some are more modest with the ladies assets xP

We did the exact opposite thing. I didn't like the live action haha

the live action was alright...

the actual Witchblade gauntlet was complete crap, but the actress playing Sara was quite hot :p

I loved the Witchblade / JLA Crossover... that was hilarious with her squaring off against Green Lantern, who was just getting b!tchy about the witchblade being called the 'most powerful weapon in the universe' lol

Makes sense, animes guys are always pretty boys. Japanese loves the pretty boys... it's in they're culture for some reason.

There are alot.. I always had a thing for D from Vampire hunter D and Then there was X and Bleach and Trinity Blood. There are some animes that I love that I have forgotten the name of x_X But sure name away xP

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien/The eternity you wish for/Rumbling Hearts - This is actually one of the top animes out there

Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou/Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstances - also good comedy

And I have to mention Azumanga Daioh... it's just hilarious.

All of them have some form of hot guy in it.

I will look into them... Except Naruto xP I was a big Goku fan back in teh day. Even had a crush on Brock back when pokemon was big xP

The anime is not that bad for me. Masane, the Witchblade and the concept of the cloneblade is a good storyline. It is just like a tale of the witchblade for me.

As for the t.v. version, I am pretty much disappointed how things were played out, like the character of Yancy Butler, Sara Pezinni, has the same face as the other wielder of the witchblade. The only interesting in the t.v. series was the episode of the super soldiers and the concept of the young curator that was later used in the comics but was made into an old man.

The witchblade comics is of course the best, specially Sara Pezzini but as the years got by, it started to lag, but revived with a strong twist of killing main characters and the witchblade choosing a new host. I do miss the Tales of the Witchblade though that talks about the past and future bearer of the witchblade.
