Sacrifice is a mini-series (in six parts) created, written and self-published by Sam Humphries (Uncanny X-Force, Higher Earth, Our Love is Real, CBGB: The Comic Book) and illustrated by newcomer artist Dalton Rose. It follows a young adolescent with epilepsy, Hector, somehow winding up in the Aztec empire with knowledge of what will happen next to this civilization. While the Aztecs discuss whether to sacrifice Hector or use him as apprentice to a high priest, Hector has to make a decision whether to fight or not. Besides, what's Hector connection to the Aztecs anyway and will he rewrite history?
