    Career

    His first real comic book work was on Ex-Mutants and Badger. Ron got his first assignment with Marvel Comics at the very first WonderCon in Oakland, California. He has been drawing professionally in the comic industry ever since.

    He's worked on Silver Surfer, Captain America, X-Men 2099, and more. When drawing Silver Surfer he's said his goal was to make the surfer look shiny.

    He regularly appears at Comic conventions and has been part of select panels. During the 2013 Nerd Institute in Sacramento, California, he spoke on the process of making comics with local indie writer Bryan Richmond.

    Personal Life

    Ron has always had a great love of comics and has been drawing since he was the size of a small monkey. He graduated with a BA in Graphic Arts at CSUS and received his first paying job as an artist during his junior year. Ron lives in Northern California with his wife Stephanie, where he draws until the wee hours of the morning watching late night talk shows and bad kung-fu movies.
