Rogue is my favourite X-Lady without any doubt, but I don't talk about her, as much as I talk about other characters, which is a shame. So I decided to created this official Rogue thread, where we can talk about anything to do with Rogue, like her powers, her men, her costumes etc.

This is a thread to discuss any and everything about Rogue

For newbies to the character, or to the site, this is an instant "Go to" thread for questions on her powers, appearances....where to buy Rogue wigs....anything

So let begin with few issues and questions :

X-Men legacy is being cancel, how do you feel about that ? are you happy or really sad about it?

The X-Men are joining alliances with the Avengers, So therefore Rogue and Ms Marvel might be in the same comic or team. How do you feel about that, is a good thing?

Will Rogue and Gambit ever get back together and do you want to this happen?

What about Rogue powers, over the last couple of years it looks like she has gotten weaker and weaker, compare to the other X-Men characters, despite that she can still handle herself in a fight, just ask Ms Marvel and She-Hulk. Should Rogue get Ms Marvels powers back or get others powers in some way, that makes her more powerful ?.

The most important question I have to ask, is what would you see to happen to Rogue in the future?

i love Rogue iam not a fan of her with Gambit though i like her and Logan or maybe colossus better but thats me. i love how strong willed she is she is sassy flirty sexy lonely she is my perfect woman.

I really want her to have her superstrength and flight back. I've said this before.

Apocalypse beats Gladiator and grabs him with his left hand. Rogue is nearby. Apocalypse catches Rogue with his right hand, blasted her with something (through Apocalypse's eyes) so Rogue would not be able to control her absorbing powers, and sticks them both. and Bam! Rogue gets Gladiator's superstrength and flight. : )

Where are the Rogue fans?

LOL I support the idea of her getting those powers back, but that scenario...........I struggle with it.lol

Rogue and Logan = a No No

Remy is her man. Always has, always will be.

I am a Rogue fan. I don't really have a favorite character, but if I did, it would be Rogue. I am sad Legacy won't star Rogue anymore, but I also didn't feel that given how much panel time Rogue was receiving she actually developed as much as she should have. This is even despite her being written by like two of my favorite writers. I feel her personality and powerset aren't really as refined as it should be and that she has been hogging the spotlight too much. I am cool with Ms Marvel and Rogue working together more, but my big want as far as those two is that writers who know the characters very very well write them in that context. So many lazy writers have ignored 20 years of continuity to play up on their first encounter.  Hello! The two characters have interacted many many times inbetween then, please try and reflect that in your writing. Two powerful kickass woman should go be two powerful woman kicking ass together, not some drama fest that has been resolved like 20 times already. I like Rogue and Gambit when they flirt but my top ten Rogue stories have been when she was doing her own thing away from Jacob and Edward ... sorry Magneto and Gambit. So I prefer Rogue away from Gambit and Magneto. For her sake and their sake.  
 
Powerwise is tricky. I'll probably randomly post my opinion on her powers here later.

I just gave you a short detail but if you only knew the whole story/fan-fic which is not complete yet, you will love it. I guess. : )

How is she a ho by the way? If anyone is a ho or a slut. it's Emma Frost. She slept with Iron Man, Namor, Sebastion Shaw and Cyclops. As well as manipulated men, when she was part of the Hellfire Club. Also Stacy X is slut, she worked in a brothel, for Christ sake. Even Cyclops, Gambit and Wolverine are major sluts too. Rogue only slept with two men, so how is she a ho?. Your chatting rubbish mate.

I'm over Romy for right now. I love them as an end game (as opposed to Gambler who has the weirdest ships ;), but they both need a break from one another.

I agree with the above two posts, Romy needs a giant ice cream stabbed in its side. Spork it, that relationship turkey is done and dusted. Gambits all good now, he has his solo book to worry about, and Rogue needs some time to rebuild independently. Get back to her roots as a strong, capable, sassy Southern Belle. She should be hanging out with some more of her friends instead of love interests, Emma, Storm, Dazzler, Betsy. In other words have a story that has all the characters from X-Woman but make it non pornographic.

Yes...I'm a huge Rogue fan and I'll always be and yes i'm not proud of what the writers did to her...she just isn't like that. Real Rogue fans know what i'm talking about and real Rogue fans also know that Gambit is the true love of her life...he always was and he'll always be no matter what would be wrote in the future about them ...Chris Claremont is a damn good writer ..he created them...he imagined them and he imagined them together until death did them apart and : X-men:the end...and no our southernbelle isn't a ho ,SOMEONE(the writers) just made fun of her....what's more to talk about?

Why? and how? do you think it's that easy to just wake up one day after loving someone so many years and say : "oh i don't love him anymore, maybe i should date someone else"...my opinion, is that something Rogue and Gambit had ...it's really hard to find...and i don't want it to end just because a couple of gambit or rogue fans say so...anyway...people like drama..so if that's what the audience wants then that's what the writers give.

Rogue should venture out explore new relationships like Logan or colossus or someone else. i still feel that Gambit is to much of a playboy type person to be with a woman like Rogue i feel that her personality fits better with wolverine ya ik you all hate that but thats my opion and i stand by it.

Sorry I can't @reply any one. I adore Romy - don't misunderstand me it's just considering how the two have been written over the last while, it's best they stay apart. I love Rogue (favourite comic character) and Gambit is way up there as well but to be honest, I hate the way he was forced to step back and be that stoic ex-lover while Rogue continued to explore her options. What about him? Anyway - to each their own but for me, I am done with Gambit and Rogue. If there is a writer out there who can tackle their relationship in a new way, then have at it. If not, leave it be. Please. :)

@FadeToBlackBolt: you are right...for me a Rogue fan it doesn't make any sense..but as i said it's all about drama. And i don't agree with the fact that they should "explore" , they didn't got to be so much time together..something always happend. It's not like they got bored of eachother ,because they had too much of a love life.

Eh, Rogue had ten years of story and characterization before Gambit even appeared. We are dealing with fictional characters. Some fans will prefer Rogue without Gambit even if the character shared something special with another. The character had something pretty special when she was written as a unique, sassy, tough but sensitive individual trying to find her place in the world. Some fans prefer Rogue and Gambit together. Some fans want Rogue and Sentry together, some fans want Rogue and Magneto together, some fans want her and Wolverine together. Ultimately some fans are going to not get what they didn't want to get and its really easy to dismiss the fans of the combination that isn't the same as yours, dismiss them as just being a few, or what have you. That it mind, its why I usually try to focus on her characterization first and foremost. I prefer her and Gambit above any other pairing, but with good characterization for both. The last person to get that right was CC, and there have been a whole lot of writers since then who can't even get the two characters individual characterization right let alone the complex task of the two together.

I actually think X-Men legacy is better than Uncanny X-Men and I think it's better than Wolverine and the X-Men too. It had some good stories, Age of X, tied in with Necrosha and then the Avengers vs X-Men chapters. Uncanny X-Men has been rubbish for 5 years. I'm looking forward to the changes. How about you?

@time: Well, firstly, it trimmed the roster down and focused more on the side of Schism that I actually enjoyed. Scott, Emma, Erik, Illyana and Piotr are all pretty deep characters that focused on a much more serious storyline. It had pretty much everything you'd want in a title. A somewhat interesting romantic triangle (Scott/Namor/Emma), Piotr being a loose cannon in a sense as well as introducing a new villian and a recreation (for the better) in Unit and Sinister. We also got the best AvX tie-ins like we did in Fear Itself from Gillen. It survived and thrived, beating WATX and every other ongoing Marvel title without sticking Logan on the team. We should champion this title for that reason alone.

On the other hand I feel that Legacy has grown weaker over the same period of time. I thought Frenzy was one of the more interesting characters in the title, but was overlooked to put Rogue front and center in every possible way. It felt pretty recycled with Rogue giving her standard "Ah, Sugah, reckon" yada yada yada. Now she's on a planet with Thundercats. Lame.

WATX is already stale. What have we gotten in that title thus far? The Brood and the Hellfire kids Club. Lame.
