No to Scott...and Logan, at least Cannonball or Iceman might be reasonable, but Gambit is the only one she is going to be with unless they make up an X-Man for her.

Am I the only one confused by the fact that Rogue was the prominent woman in Scott's mind? Everyone was in their battle gear but her. She was in her Savage Land "clothes" (when did he see her in that by the way). Then she was the tour guide for Emma, and that outfit was provocative..........just saying.

@boob: You speak the truth. She does seem to feature a lot on his mind. Maybe it was a tongue and cheek thing for a future pairing between the two. Just think of the alternate Summers babies that would come from that. lol.

Me too. But no relationship can top her and Gambit.

It worked well in X-Men Evolution and I really wish they had gone with it instead of the classic Scott-Jean.

I think it'd be good pairing in 616, for a lot of the same reasons it worked in Evo.

And I don't like Gambit-Rogue (I know it's a classic pairing). They're always on-off and Gambit treats Rogue badly (I think so, anyway).

No to Wolverine-Rogue. Wolverine has plenty of women as it is.

Uhm - I remember the Rogue/Scott thing and it annoyed me but to be fair -- it worked in X-Men Evolution.

I like rogue and gambit in the long run. But at the same time I kind of like the separate ways thing there doing now. Sometimes people who are very much in love just can't make it work, whether its the situation or the time it just doesn't work and it sucks but it makes for a good dramatic interaction.

Man, Hell no! Hell no! Then Scott will be labeled as the guy who dates former female villians, Would Mystique be next on the list for Scott?

How does Gambit treat Rogue badly Crusader105??? Well lets look at some of there history.

1.He came to her aid in Messiah Complex while she was in that coma.
2.Went with Charles to the out back because he was told Rogue would need his help.
3.Gives her the space that she asks for
4.Saves her from certain death from Magnetos kill-squad in AOX
5.Attempts to reason with her that she isn't really Legacy.

Gambit has been the only one faithful in their relationship, even when they were still together, while Rogue has always been wondering about other men like Joseph, Colossus, Campbell, Pulse and now Magneto. Only when they broke up did Gambit see other women. When they were together, other women were of course interested in him but he shot them down. From Storm, Belle, Ginny, and Foxx (who was Mystique). In XML #275, 2012, even though it happens off panel, Gambit is now just a friend to her. There whole history means nothing to her anymore

As for the topic at hand, I actually just started watching X men evolution, because everyone talked so highly about it on these forums i figured what the hell. It's pretty good and I could actually see the Rogue / Scott thing in 616 if done right. I mean in the first issue of Uncanny Avengers she basically tore into witch blaming her for this whole mess, she was loyal to scott till the very end, and really only went with wolverine to the school because she wanted to help the kids. Of course then Magneto might want scott's head but thats another problem all together.

@romyfan: If she had a haling factor as powerful as HIS? She could still be alive even if she was slightly OLDER than him!

I actually love this pairing. I like her and Gambit also but it would be a good little break out for her to date Scott or Magneto. I feel like with them she would develop her powers more and more as a character.
