Polaris actually mentions during her bachelorette party that if she was Rogue, she would just wear an inhibitor collar in order to facilitate physical interaction. Not a bad idea, but it would take some of the drama out of her relationship with Gambit. That said, we know Magneto can nullify her powers for a period of time.
