Like Via IV fertilization? And if so would the baby be sucked into a dried up husk? I read AOA again recently and Magneto got her pregnant by supressing her powers magnetically... No I''m saying minus this possibility(Magnetic supression), could a powered Rogue:
1.)Conceive a baby
2.)Carry the baby to term(9 months)
3.)give birth to the baby
Rogue
Character » Rogue appears in 6624 issues.
The adopted daughter of Mystique, Rogue was once a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Now reformed, Rogue has become a veteran member of the X-Men.
Can Rogue get pregnant?
"SPOILER!!
She could touch people now.. and still take their powers
END OF SPOILER.."
WHACK WHACK WHACK!!!
" I always figured if she did somehow get pregnant, the child would be immune to her powers. "Let's hope it's never by Magneto and that AOA storyline doesn't happen.
Well that just debunked my curiosity... I like the leather coat, yello and green suit, big country hair always sayin "Sugah" Rogue... SOooooo Hot... I miss those days... She was the ultimate C*** tease because she was beautiful and alluring but you couldnt touch her at all, that made her intriguing because knowing how dudes are some would try(ie Gambit)
have you ever read Exiles Vol.1 an alternate reality Rogue had a child with Magneto,
Instead of Rogue killing him with her powers, he turned his mother to a statue with his power, which is any physical contact with him turns the person to steel, and a master of Magnetism like his father. Marvel has never stated it but it is argued that he was immune to Rogues powers.
I'm glad she finally has control over her powers...now we can get rid of the super depressed Rogue that's been running around for the last couple years and have the fun loving Rogue of the 90's back
" @Gambler said:It was canon just alternate futures. But it was still Rogue with her abilities." Rogues conceived children in several story acrs "None canon right? "
"@danhimself: You should check out the latest issue of X-men Legacy you might enjoy seeing who's power she currently has."
yeah I saw she copied Ares's powers but that won't last

he didn't really suppress her power....he surrounds himself in a thin magnetic field that blocks her touch

" @Apparition said:oh the same things everyone else is saying. relatives being immune to each other's powers, her being in control of her powers, skin to skin contact being the only thing seen to make her powers attack someone else... no reason to just guess that she would have any issues having a child." nope "Any particular reason, or just to make things simpler, since Rogue was "rebooted" recently, for lack of a better term? "
" @The Psyentist said:Right, that clarifies the parent/child question." I mean, was Magneto immune to Scarlet Witch's power? "Magneto was de-powered by Wanda, so I'll say no. Magneto has also used his power on Pietro more than once."
" She may have had the issue all along, and not known because of her power. That would be rough, but in keeping with most X-writers' mentality of "Let's make Rogue's life really, really hard and traumatic." "no one alluded to it, so i dont see a reason to assume that it would be an issue.
" So siblings are immune, but not Parent/child.. "Siblings are not always immune. Vulcan can hurt Cylops and Havok (though Cyclops and Havok can't effect each other). I'm sure Polaris used her powers on Pietro while they were in X-Factor, but I can't recall such an instance. Also, Jamie Braddock's powers have worked on Betsy, and vice versa.
