    Origin

    Rod Rian was a stalwart member of the Sky Police in the year 2500 AD, he and his fellow Sky Policemen protected earth from a variety of aliens, space pirates and other menaces from beyond.

    While he often fought in outer space and on a number of hostile alien planets he never once put on a shirt.

    Creator

    Created, written and drawn by Paul Hans Jepsen (1909-1987) the character first appeared in Dell’s The Comics in 1937 for a few issues, then after being cancelled from there in Flash Comics # 2 through 11.

    Paul Jepsen is also credited with the creation of Sally the Sleuth.
