Last month, one of the characters that was revealed to be coming to CBS' new show Supergirl was Dr T.O. Morrow, better known as the creator of Red Tornado. Now, according to ComicBook.com, Iddo Goldberg has been cast for that role. The actor has appeared on Peaky Blinders and the film Defiance.

Apparently, Dr Morrow will create the Red Tornado android for the U.S. Army as a weapon, but it will become sentient and pose danger to those around it, and of course, Supergirl will most likely be the one who has to stop it.

Supergirl debuts on CBS on October 26.

Dr. Morrow has always been a neutral character. Sometimes evil and sometimes a reluctant ally. Dr. Morrow was a former colleague of Dr. Ivo and now works with Cyborg's dad

@ravenvice01: I'm rather certain that pre-Flashpoint, Morrow was definitely a villain. He created Reddy to infiltrate and destroy the JLA, but the android turned on him and sided with the League. Red Tornado also bonded with the spirit of the benevolent Tornado Champion from planet Rann, giving him a soul. Anyway, yes, in the New 52, Morrow works with Silas Stone at STAR Labs, but that is a stark departure from the pre-Flashpoint version.
