It Only Hurts when You LaughTo see this review with images, Click Here. There have been many crossovers in the Death of the Family story arc, but I’m not sure any of them have filled me with as much hope as this issue. I would really love to see Jason spill Joker’s brains across the ground, and though I know that will not happen, Lobdell has said that Jason will deliver quite a beating, and I guess that will have to suffice. As best as I can tell, Red Hood and Joker have not met since Under the R...

Jason is now faced with the task of protecting an innocent woman who has been targeted by her involvement with Jason, by none other than Joker. We have finally reached The Death of the Family, and the issue is filled enough fighting and mystery that makes you want to re-read the story. Meanwhile, Roy and Kori come to the aid of Jason, only to find the Teen Titans. Will Jason survive the onslaught, or does Joker have other plans for him, but on to the review.THE GOOD:Harvey Bullock makes an unexp...

THE GOOD: Timothy Green II provides the art in this issue are there are something that I enjoy. The action is very well done and really makes the hits and blows look painful. Some of the expressions are well done as well. The story is a mixed bag. Jason was really cool in this issue because a big part of his history is being killed by the Joker and Scott Lobdell mentions this and it feels very tragic. This issue also kinda puts Jason more on the side of good instead of bad where he should be mor...

What's Joker Got in Store for Jason, and Tim? 0

I have really been enjoying this series, and have loved seeing Red Hood (Jason Todd) having to work as part of a team, something he's not been very good at following his death, in A Death in the Family. This is a very fun series, and I love seeing not just Red Hood, but Arsenal (Roy Harper), and Starfire also, and think that Scott Lobdell has done an amazing job of writing them.PlotThis issue sees a continuation from the last with Jason going after Joker for potentially killing Isabel Ardila. Timothy Green II's artwork somehow works a lot better in this issue than it did during the Starfire arc. Perhaps it's just the outer space stuff Green wasn't suited for, and the more street level stuff here, combined with the twisted nature of The Joker, that makes his art surprisingly effective. Green definitely draws one of the more eerie new Jokers. We really get to see how far the team has come in these past 15 issues, Starfire has opened up a lot more, and taken interest in Roy Harper for re...
