If this is going to be a permanent costume for Raven...
I will miss the cloak.
Thoughts anyone?
Character » Raven appears in 1730 issues.
Raven costume now looks more like a real raven so it is ok. Hawkman used to fight a character in a raven costume named Joey Makk.
@colonyofcells: The thing is, though, her name is Raven, but not her theme. She was never supposed to be dressing up as a bird or anything. Yeah, there were some subtle references, such as her soul self taking the shape of a raven and her hood looking a little like a beak, but that was it. Now they're taking the fact that she's named after a bird and shoving it straight in the reader's face, and it really falls short. It might not be so bad if not for that atrocious headgear and the kneepads... but it looks really overdone.
@JLDoom:
@Ravager4: I agree with you, her name is Raven but DC doesn't have to dress her up like a bird! Maybe I would have liked the costume better without the mask but I'm going to miss her cloak.
@JLDoom: You're welcome. DC is seriously have a thing for feathers, look at Tim's costume! It would be better without the feathers! Like... why?
I think that may take the cake for worst redesign of a character in the new 52
I think this meme describes my feeling about that design

It's even worse that Raven is my favorite character and I have to see her in that costume until someone slap some sense into DC.
I never saw Raven a real superhero character. This costume seems to push her more towards that and I don't like it. I'd rather see her out of costume and on JLD.
@DarkShadows: Yeah, the Teen Titans in general have horrible new costumes, but this... I don't even think words can describe how horrible that costume is.
First how can she see at all with feathers in front of her eyes, second knee pads really, and third why doesn't DC lets the 90's disappear.
WHY MUST DC CONTINUE TO RUIN THE TEEN TITANS!

Stupid mask.
Pointless kneepads.
It blows.
Yup. This.
I mean why on earth would Raven need knee pads???
Like I said, I really hate the costume (at least it isn't revealing or sexy). They really don't need the mask or the knee pads, the costume would have been okay without them. Despite the horrible costume, I still love Raven.
By the way, who's the glowing dude behind Raven? I just noticed him.
@Ironhawk22: Obviously because she prays a lot, so he knees might get sore :S
As for the design...thank Kenneth 'RH&O' Rocafort, yet another student of the Jim Lee/Never Finished school of art.
@Outside_85: Haha! It all makes sense now. Yeah, Jim Lee and KR are good artists, but their design work leaves a lot to be desired.
@Outside_85: Do you have any idea who's the glowing guy behind Raven? I'm trying to figure it out but nothing comes to my mind and it's hard to see too.
Raven's costume needs more sideboob. Robin looks kick ass thou. Not a big DC person but what an improvement on his costume.
Question, how tf will she be able to see with her eyes covered? They sould have remove that head gear thing, and turned it into a hood. Even the Phantom Stranger look was 10000000000000000000000000000000000000x better than this costume.
I still dont understand why they wont let her join Justice League Dark. None of the original titans are on the current teen titans, so why is she? And i hope that she isnt emo or goth again. Yeah she has this creepy vibe to her but that was because of her father. After Trigon was defeated and she could experience emotions, she was acted normal.
@DarkShadows: Nothing definitive but options are:
Solstice (original form), Dr. Light, Hotspot, one of the two Apollo's and Red Star...And someone suggested Wally West as a returned Saint Speed :)
@RavenArrow: I'd advise against it...besides it's not Scotts fault (for once ;) ) it's Kenneth Rocaford's design.
I like the cape, the mask needs to be reworked( i think they want her to have a real secret identity, so they axed the hood) Honestly they need to redesign it again, she still reminds me of a power rangers villain
I am of course joking, though I did think it was Lobdell's fault initially. As much as I want to, I can't strangle Kenneth Rocafort, since he is actually my favourite artist (somebody obviously told him to design her like that!). No, seriously, the point here is, I wiuld ove the suit if it were't for that mask/cowl or so. Seriously. ut goddammit, I hate that thing. Let's hope it's just because she's possessed by Trigon.
@EnSabahNurX: Well the original teaser image she does appear to still have a hood, could be the contraption covering the rest of her is something she cant remove on her own power.
Is this really Raven? it doesnt look like her at all
however the design is not that bad if its not her
@arnoldoaad: (According to Brett Booth it is) But I have to agree, the design is decent...had it just been on another character. My usual gripe with these kinds of things is that the designers end up removing too much of what make characters easily identifiable...in this case the hood.
I wonder what powers she has. Can she, teleport, use telekinesis, or has she perfected her empathy? Also I'm surprised that she express emotions, then again her emotions tend to make her powers stronger. And if I'm correct, in phantom stranger she used the absorbed emotions from others to make her soul self stronger.

:O
*Opens mouth really wide.
Is this really outside 85? Are there anyone impersonating him?
I don't recall Outside 85 would not blame Scott for anything in general.
Ca-Caaawwww!! Ca-Ka-Kaaawwwww!!!!
Her mysticism is gone, but I'll wait till I see the full body outfit....this could easily grow on me.......depending
@sethysquare: I blame Scott for bad stories and bad characters, character designs and art work isn't his field of responsibility.
