    Quantum of Solace takes place immediately after the events of the previous film, Casino Royale. Bond, stricken with grief and rage, heads out to take revenge against the criminal organization known as Quantum, for causing the death of his lover. Bond goes rogue from MI6, and with no one to trust, must stop a dictator's plot to control the world's most valuable resource.

    Seriously that's all I can say....meh.   I wasn't a huge fan of James Bond till Casino Royal came out, that movie is easily the best of the series. However does the sequel live up to the first movie.....not really.   There are a lot of great things in this film, mainly the actors. Daniel Craig is easily the greatest James Bond that has ever walked on screen and throughout the movie you really feel for his characters and unlike Pierce Bronson (Mamma Mia...ugh) he can easily slip away from the fra...

    Quantum of Solace is a direct sequel to the previous Bond film Casino Royal. I mean DIRECT sequel. The film starts seconds after the last left off. I watched it with a girl who hadn't seen the first movie. She had no idea what was going on through-out. I would have explained the story of the first film if I had two seconds to breath between action sequences. Theses scenes involve multiple camera angle changes in succession.
