In 1982 Dez Skinn formed the Quality Communications company to publish the anthology comic, Warrior, as well a single issue revival of Halls of Horror, which Dez had previously produced for Top Sellers Ltd (where it had been House of Hammer and then House of Horror before becoming Halls of Horror, and where Warrior hero Father Shandor first transferred from Hammer movie to printed page). Quality later reprinted strips from 2000 AD for the U.S. market, taking over the license and some of the existing titles from Eagle Comics. In 1990 they published Comic International which ran for 16 year before the publication was sold to Cosmic Publications.

More recently they have published Jack Kirby Quarterly and Toy Max, a magazine for toy collectors.
