I know he really really respected Cap and all but I'm kinda speechless about what's coming up in Punisher War Journal #7.

Looks too pudgy to be Punisher. Unless Punisher is on the roids. First Canseco, now Castle... say it isn't so.

No, thats badass, he keeps the dream alive, and at the same time he'll make people see how much Captian America actually meant. I hope he puts a bullet in every single pro-reg hero in the books. They may not have pulled the trigger, but there the ones that killed Captian America. Cap to me was like a parent, you see them everyday, so you take them for granted, if you were to lose one of them you'd be crushed.

Punisher's beefed up some since his older appearances. At least with the current War Journal. Artist interpretation?

Look at the current issue or in civil war.

The page where he finds out about Cap getting shot was something. The way it was drawn and how he just stopped in the middle of the sidewalk in Times Square was pretty cool. I really don't think he'll keep it. It is kinda cool for a change. I think I'm starting to like it.

Looks like he's giving tickets to the gun show, my guns look like that.(I wish)

I hope he gets Tony and all the others on the run. Punisher is resiliant and can cause hell like none other. I hope Cap comes back though. I have looked up to Cap since I was a little guy (not so little anymore). Cap is an icon in my mind.

I just don't know if it'll stick. I was surprised when I found that image for issue 7. I know he really liked and respected Cap but I just don't know how long it'd last.

Um is that image for real? Seriously. I pretty much expect the Punisher to be the new Cap but what the hell is up with that horrible costume that looks like Mr. Monster?!?

It looks real. Marvel is offering it as the variant cover. Dynamic Forces is selling preorders of a signed copy of that cover. It's funny, people either seem to really hate it or really like it. I don't think it'd last that long if it even went beyond that issue. I'm sure it won't make it to Ennis' Punisher since he hates the spandex heroes (he is still writing that, right?)

In the latest Wizard, Marvel editor Tom Brevoort said, "The government won't be putting someone new in hte Captain America suit, but as we'll see in Punisher War Journal, that won't stop others from taking his symbol and applying it to a philosophy he wouldn't be in line with."

Let's not forget that Frank also picked up Cap's mask at the end of Civil War #7 (why no one else did is beyond me).
