Basically the title says it all, but what do you guys think? Do you think she should remain in Kwannon's body or do you think it's time for her to go back to her European body? (I know that Dazzler blew its head off but, hey its Marvel lol) Would you like a story arc where Kwannon's spirit comes back to try to reclaim her body? Let me know and no rude comments please

Prior to the Dazzler blowing up the head of the original body, was it at all being used by anybody? Was it in a state to where it would still be usable/alive?

Can't imagine anyone would be comfortable moving back into their former shell when it has been left to rot for a good while.

Also I think she should stay because I've known her as an Asian longer than as a European (my surprise when I learned she wasn't originally the former) and to go back would seem... unnecessary.

I would love for her to go back to her original body, and it can be done. The problem is that people who've only known her as asian think she should stay asian forever. I dont subscribe to that for many reasons. One being is that She's got a white set of brothers.. Two she's NOT asian.. and People of all asian persuasions should have an ACTUAL asian character. Bringing back Kwannon, and restoring the two back to their former bodies would work easily. Fans would be upset for all of two minutes. People screamed and cried when they changed Spidermans' past 20 years, basically making it null and void. Then they KILLED Peter. He's INFINITELY more popular than Psylocke.. infinitely. SO changing Psylocke back to her own Body can work.

Jamie offered her a new British Body, and can do so again. WAIT Jamies dead.. Well Jamie alters and can control Reality.. by the strings itself, so he can do it easily. As too can Spiral simply recreate Psylockes body, and transfer the minds back. So I see the asian/eurasian body fans point of they've known her longer that way! It doesn't matter, she's NOT asian period. So basically neither of us can knock the other for liking that particular body. I grew up with a Feminine Mindblasting white mindcontrolling, illusion casting badass who didn't need to be a ninja.

Jim Lee made her popular sure, but he made ALL the 90's X-men popular at the time, and all of those characters have had substantive changes over the years except her. She's gotten it, and now she needs to go back to her real body. You can still have Psylocke.. and possibly also Kwannon. Who needs to return asap. Give asian fans an actual asian heroine, not a european colonial co-opted one.

Yes she should. I've always thought it was stupid, and they wasted their chance to get it back in uncanny x-force.

I know what y'all mean, and I also think that even though its her Asian version that is known better, it feels off that she hasn't return to her body, I mean did she not like who she was before? Did she have such huge low self-esteem that she actually feels more comfortable in another woman's body? I don't know it just sorta weird you know?

Psylocke had TONS of Self confidence back then. She loved her body. She was a Model and they dont lack in the confidence area. The biggest running issue Psylocke always had, was that she was the "GIRL" of the group. She was non physical, and just wanted to be able to make it through a fight, that's why she got the armour. The whole thing with her wanting to be a warrior, didnt mean she wanted to beat people up with her fists. Most X-men dont fight hand to hand. She wanted enough protection and skill to be on the front lines. The armour gave her that, and the training sessions she had improved her physical skills like agility and tactics. When she got her wish in Uncanny X-men annual 11. She didn't become a Ninja, She got a metal body and improved Psionic abilities, that allowed her to fight Horde toe to toe and buy precious time for Storm and Wolverine. She lost the fight.. but so did Storm, who gave in to her desires. But she got Wolverine the time he needed.

For fans who want to TRULY know Psylocke they should Read Uncanny X-men Annual #11 she went from being unsure, to confident in her talents. She still wasn't a front liner, but she didn't need to be, she knew that she didn't need to be the hero to save the day!

It would make for an interesting story having the knowledge of all that martial skill and yet having a body that lacks the muscle memory to be abel to do what the mind says it can or should do.

I liked Psylocke better in her original body. When they did the body switch, it became so confusing. Over 20 years has passed since that dreadful decision by Chris Clarement. And now it is a permanent fixture to her character.

See but her body isn't even really Kwannon's body anymore, a few years back when Jamie brought her back to life he gave her a new body and tightened up the strings of reality around her so she can't be transformed anymore. Mojo turned the X-Men into X-Babies and it didn't work on her much to his and Spiral's shock. .

That's one of those things that's been retconned out. Psylocke has been retconned more times than many other characters. Thanks to Fabian Nicienza...>.>

I'd say back to the original body, mostly for the same reasons as the other posters.

She should share a body with Storm for a time.

she was a more formidable telepath in her original body, i'd say by NOW she'd probably be an omega class telepath if she never swopped bodies with Kwannon, that would be my ONLY reason for her staying or going back to her original body....but i guess there's no guarantee she'd go right back to her original power set if she were to back to her original body again (who knows, whatever the writers write, guess its up to them), BUT i don't have an issue with her remaining in Kwannon's body

i'm a big psylocke fan my 3 fave female marvel character right after black widow and ms marvel. I started reading when she already had the body switch so i always thought of her as asian until my died hard marvel fanboy brother let me read her old comics and saw her old look, and i must say i would like it if she went back to being British. The only thing i want her to keep is the purple hair and fighting skills, but yes i agree with that i want her to be back in her original body again.

I think for the character herself... It appears she wants to go back as seen in Uncanny X-Force when Cassandra Nova offers her to go back to her old body. The look on her face appears to be genuine on wanting her old body back. Like @primebonnick I read X-Men comics when she was already asian being that I was born in the 90's and I went back and saw her old british self... I agree when them, although I love asian Psylocke, I would love for her to go back to her old body. Now how thats going to affect her powers will be interesting. I believe she had vast potential to be an omega level telepath if she worked out that brain of hers and didn't end up in a ninjas body. But for the character... it might be a set back in her development so idk... whatever happens to her, she's still my favorite character in comics.
