this has the answers you're looking for. who cares if its boring or if you like it, thats not the goal of a logo.

"We tell the client that our time-tested principle is that choosing an effective logo is not about what one likes or dislikes: it’s about what works. For a logo to work — and work for a long time — it must be simple. We also remind our clients that a logo is not the totality of the communications of the company, and also that if the mark is simple and distinctive enough, it can take on any treatment or filter."

Writing a teenage superhero for an online animated series. My question is What should i avoid doing, and what are some tips of things i should do to make it successful? Figured Comic fans would be best people to ask about this.

yeah, don't do it. there is more than enough teenage superhero stories. do something else to make it exciting

just to keep things in mind, only about 1% of the population is out as gay (at least based what i've read recently, correct me if i'm wrong). so that would be to represent "real life" only about 1 in 100 characters should be gay. i would say by that standard, we may even be getting close to too many gay characters.

now as for race, yes we probably need more black and most definitely more hispanic if you want to represent USA as it stands currently. but i do think comics have covered that more recently. and some characters, like miles morales, are diverse without being forced (imo). but you also can't blame white males for writing about white males. thats what they know and what they've lived out for the most park, and that's just as okay as black females writing black females, asian males writing asian males, etc.

i love slott, he's a fun writer. his work doesn't always do well in the serious tone, but a fun upbeat book has been a big part of spidey since the beginning. and he obviously loves doing it, i always look forward to his work. and before him, when they had the rotating cast of writers, the writing was really inconsistent and had great issues and awful issues. at least now it's great most of the time, and mediocre some of the time but never terrible.

but it has been a while, could be refreshing to see someone else take the reigns.
