I don't often get involved in shit like this but honestly, I'm sort of annoyed by the whole tone of it.
Lets look at Thor vs street levelers. Thor misses a lot. I wonder if that has to do with the fact that swinging fast and uncontrolled will kill them or if he is just slow as dirt.
Lets look at Thor vs high end powerhouses. He often gets blitzed, taking a hit and landing one in return. Seems he's consistently fast enough to do so or is that somehow PIS?
If it's PIS why isn't Superman's discounting of momentum and physics brought up? Why isn't any street leveler surviving machine gun fire while leaping brought up as PIS? Is it because they do those things consistently even if they don't make sense? If so, maybe a little less hypocrisy should be involved when the topic at hand is Thor.
No, Thor's not a traditional speedster. However he has shown the ability to consistently deal with people who play a lot like Superman. At the end of the day both those guys have ramped up feats that either camp can make a great case for victory on the battles forum.
I see Garth as both a skilled warrior and magic/sorcerery who also use his magic powers in fights as well his hand to hand fighting skills which should have considering member of Drift an Atlantean military spec ops which all members have extensions training both hand to hand fighting and weapon fighting as well training other areas.
Also as a Royal Atlantean should be very strong, the strongest most physicals Atlantean's are Arthur, then Garth/Orm then after them be Mera/Tula then rest of normal non Royal Atlantean's etc, I think terms Magical power I think should be up there with likes Zatanna and Fate.
Also Abnett has written Garth as a powerhouse in Titans Hunt from fight that Garth had with Donna he seemed very strong him punching her through beach house it looked like he getting better of her and had her beat in that fight.
