It's pretty amazing how you continue to reinvent Q. Dare I say there are three generations who have three different perceptions on who Quintus Knightfall is.
She'd been out for days, her body mangled and severely violated. To preserve herself, The Throneless Matriarch retreated into a mental "pocket" of sorts. Forcing her body to shut down most of her vital functions save for the beating of her heart and her mind.
While she couldn't physically do anything, she was able to discern her savior. She recognized the powers coursing through the veins--Tesla, the goddess of Knowledge and Virtue.
The manuscripts of Tesla were scarce, and like Nayru she was stingy with her gifts for fear that she'd bless the wrong person, but it seemed fortune smiled on Judith as she was now truly one of them.
With Tesla currently taking hold of Judith's body, it would hurt Ziccarra to force herself into the woman's mind. So she'd have to request an audience with her. "goddess, I wish to speak to Judith about an urgent matter"
This body was no longer viable, if Ziccarra was going to restore what was lost, she'd need the physical form of her younger self, and for that she needed to cast aside the flesh.
We've lived here in this Broken Kingdom amongst the gods for sometime now. They have showed mercy for our transgressions in our past lives--they even tried to give us new lives. This island we've lived on in isolation has protected us from the outside world, it allowed us to redefine our identity. While my daughters and I lived her forgetting what we were; the lives of those we've ended across the galaxy continue to haunt me. I'm not supposed to remember, but not even the mighty Shira can quell the paralyzing screams of children slung over my divine blade. She [Shira] believes us to be heroes, destined to one day bring peace to our small planet; I believe us to be the catalyst for something far worse.
Just when the nightmares became too much---he came. Falling from the sky like a cosmic memory shard; allowing me to see these nightmares as Reality. I remember it all: Alexis, Queentus, Ashley, Zeon, Iceland, Selene, Isis; and the Red Cardinals. But above all else, I remembered Spain.
This vision of my family as a perfect entity has faded, and I'm reminded that my face has bore many titles. The gods have not yet decided my purpose, and if I am here to bring chaos to this world--then surely someone has beaten me to it.
Someone thought it was ok to banish me behind a mirror of the world I once called home. The woman I was supposed to be loves this fabricated paradise; but the woman I am knows that this is far from home.
I can't--we can't stay here; my daughters will eventually uncover the truth about what we are; about what they were, about what I am--and I will surely lose them.
If I am here to bring peace to this world--then it's time to light up the darkness.
