Why do we have a respect thread for a group of real people on Comicvine? I mean i'd understand if this was the "Gay character respect thread" but I certainly don't understand this. Not so much because it has nothing to do with comics but because I don't get what purpose this serves...I mean no offense BTW, I just don't get it.
Yes, you´re right! It is absolutely ridiculous to spend our time and energy on real people, part of this community, that deserve respect for standing out, for living openly their way of life, despite all obstacles, instead of giving our respects to fictional characters, who couldn´t care less. Absolute waste of time!
Thank god for this thread. I'm so sick and tired of the homophobes on this site.
Are there really so many on here? Would otherwise think that comicbookgeeks were openminded enough to accept same-sex-relationships, when they can accept alien saviours and billionaire knights?!

Is that better?
*sarcastic tone on* Of course this one is better! Girl-on-girl action is always ok (especially because lesbians always look like this in porn), but God beware if it would be two dudes. That undermines my masculinity. *sarcastic tone off*
My sister is a priest. My sister is married. My sister is gay. She's in a relationship that the church deems is an actual marriage, but the state does not.
Now, let's give homosexuals the same basic rights everyone else has.
If that upsets you, then let me tell you that I hate what you eat for breakfast in the morning. Your breakfast is an abomination to God.
Let´s just hate, what they eat all day. Their whole diet plan is an abomination to God. ;)
@charlieboy: I´m straight but even I was moved to tears. Thank you! I honestly believe that Obama is so good for the country, but being blocked by morons!
