Who cares if the movie is a financial or critical success... it only matters what we think of the movie, whether we love it or hate it ... critics are not some film geniuses there opinions shouldnt mean more to you any more or less than the other people posting here. So as a huge comic book fan, id want a new batman because, why would I want a justice league in which batman had been retired for 8 years after operating for a couple.. that would make for a 40 year old freaking batman and a 20 year old superman just getting into his superhero stature and responsibility. Now I dont dislike bale or nolan at all, so although Id like a different continuity, it wouldnt devastate me or turn me off for them to be reused (as long as they drop the realism, how do you make green lantern and martian manhunter truly grounded, its a super hero movie let them be super). The issue is, is that they are going to use an origin type film, so you may as well start from scratch and build around a "young 20-something" superman (which is what male of steal will present to us).
I love ultron... but no matter what they say I cant help but think that this looks like its going to be some alternative timeline with AU tag on everything
Hectorsquall is right... especially since loeb has said that his new avengers show will be stand alone episodes in the same universe as ultimate spider-man with the same style animation... Nothing good can happen from EMH getting cancelled, there story lines, and cameos were excellent and avengers assemble is going to be geared for young children... sounds awful.
Unless it was a bait and switch, coulson should just stay dead... why do people want him back as the vision? wouldn't you rather see an avengers movie with ultron as the bad guy and vision as one of his "army." Coulson was funny and all but why make up all this BS with resurrection or LMD. In comics or shows when a LMD is killed you see the robotics inside... coulson was bleeding... it was an emotional moment in the film just leave him dead and add new characters. People die in comics all the time should we really make movies not have death?
you jedi that scene never even crossed my mind my apologies although i did read that there are three in the movie which leads me to believe its a ship or weapon
Sorry Red that "leviathan" in the film is absolutely not going to be find fang foom they only put that toy in cause they probably could not have found something else... Vision and scarlet witch aren't in the film but they are in the trailer... plus fing fang foom is not a mechanical creature or ship.
Although I dont love the mask... I do understand why they do it so its a simple concession... Bane seems to be an integral part of the story so they want to humanize him a little more from a street thug, they want him to be able to express and talk clearly as an authoritative villain, not hired help. Its also oddly constructed... Im wondering if they are using a little creative license to adjust how bane ingests his venom.
