Seeing as how the Teen Titans are irrelevant these days, I think its fine that Deathstroke will be a Batman villain. I hope Deathstroke also has some history with Green Arrow at some point. And I am still highly doubting that Deathstroke will be a main villain anyway. They will give us a good fight scene or 2 but I'm still expecting Joker to be a main villain.
This is surprisingly good. The art drew me in on the One-Shot and the story definitely caught be off guard with how good it was. The flashbacks and Lobdell's approach to Jason are great. Even if you've just watched the Under the Red Hood animated movie, this is actually a good place to pick up with Jason. And after this interview I at least have a better understanding on how he is approaching Bizarro and Artemis.
I don't even understand why a having a dark tone is even frowned upon with this subject. This is the world reacting to Superman and super powered people. Look around at our world and look how much controversy there is already. Could you imagine if an alien showed up now in the public eye how the world would react? We are only 3 movies into this universe..so maybe once the world begins to trust heroes like Superman..then perhaps you will get your lighter tone movies. But when it comes to a movie full of villains..you really didn't expect it to be dark?
To be honest I was kind of bored with the movie. Black Panther was good in the parts he was in. Spider-man came off..I guess too young for me. I understand the audience this movie is for but I couldn't help feel that Andrew Garfield was just better. And Im not even a fan of Andrew Garfield or those Spider-man films. Even the animation in fight scenes seemed really cheesy or had a lot of shaky cam. In the end I still like Winter Soldier more. 3/5
