No, I meant that I really do want to support the people that entertain us so much. They're the reason we're on this site, and they deserve a decent living off of it. My point was that if I download the comics now but pay for them later, no one gets hurt. I'm still totally on the fence about this one. I'm a musician, and people downloading my music for free (not that anyone even cares enough to do *that*) doesn't make my rent any easier to pay. It's nice to know people care, but I can't take that to my landlord as payment.
The Dark Knight is the best argument for practical effects I've ever seen. Had it been shot by most other directors, we would have been treated to temporarily cartoonish action figures fighting on rooftops, in helicopters, and on jetpacks. Only Nolan could have pulled off something this spectacular, while keeping it all completely grounded. I would argue that The Dark Knight is one of the best if not THE best action movie ever made.
