Another new comic user so this thread is good. Yay.

For OP, I would recommend invincible. Its sooooo good. #100 is coming out this week, but it won't take long at all to get caught up.

Oh, another one is saga. The TPB is $10 and will get you caught up. I wasn't too into it but when I got the TPB everyone in the store was like "ermgerd saga!!!!" So it has to be good. I just didn't get it I guess.

Captain America, Superman, and Captain Marvel would be my 3 nominees just based on reputation. In JLU Batman even said Captain Marvel was more of a boyscout than Superman.

My ceiling was raised from a 7.0 to MAYBE an 8.0

It won't be amazing, but I think this will give it a fair shot to be decent (good)

I'm going through the Civil War right now and I always get a chuckle from the Wolverine and Deadpool issues.

I started actually collecting about 2 months ago. I never read any comics before then, but I had always wanted some (Tales of Suspense 39 and Iron Man 1 are on my "things I'm going to buy when I graduate and get a real job" list) but when I heard they were doing Before Watchmen I had to get that and read it. That's kind of opened a can of worms. I don't really have any room at all for an actual collection besides wall comics, so I have been reading almost entirely on my laptop.

You guys above talking about proper storage, I have my wall comics that I would like to keep as good as I can...any recommendations? I just got bags (and boards for my non-wall comics) for them, and I have thick black curtains to keep the sun out. I read about microchamber paper, but I don't know. For my expensive comics...what do?

I'm more into collecting at this point. I love reading, and I'm in the middle of the Civil War now but I can't wait to go back and read stuff. I've got all of Iron Man in my queue and then probably Swamp Thing after that. I tried to read Flash Comics but man that was cheezy.

Nolan Grayson lololololol

His wife is really nice though. She took care of her husbands bastard like her own. Although I'm worried about him.
