@tron_bonne: I can't think of any other reason people use religion.

It can impel people to act ethically among other things.

The Abrahamic religions (I'm just going to discuss them since they are the largest religions and when most talk about religion they are talking about the Christian religion unless they specify otherwise), aren't the models of ethical behaviour that people make them out to be, there's some good stuff of course- don't steal, don't kill, etc.- but there's also alot of rape and murder that is justified as being right with god, women are treated like property, "you may stone a disobedient child." People overlook this when they talk about the bible in terms of ethics and when you bring it up they always say that it was just a sign of the times, which is true, but it doesn't make the bible any more of a viable ethical source book. We've come along way in the past 2000 years so I don't understand why people think we need to defer to an ancient text for our ethics. Religion can also impel people to act very unethically, see genocide.

It's always good to start the day off with a little tirade.

I think the healing factor is a given if you're talking about having adamantium grafted to your bones and/or claws implanted, it'd kill you otherwise (remember that issue of uncanny where they all got the mutant flu or something and Wolverine got adamantium poisoning cause his healing factor was off. This is the problem I've always had with the the claws, where do they go when they aren't out? They're pretty f-ing long so it's not like they'd fit in your hands- at least not my hands- which means that they must retract into your forearm but here's the thing, what stops them from like shooting out of your wrist is your hand is not perfectly straight with your arm? This has just always bothered me.

If I had adamantium coating in my bones, who cares about the claws? I'd have hammer-esque fists! But with claws, I might hurt the ones I don't intend to... But they still have some uses.

I wouldn't need to buy kitchen utensils save for spoons and I wouldn't have to buy razors for shaving. And if I had a HF thrown in, the skin would grow right back.

But so might you're beard, you might have to have lamb-chops for the rest of your days :) . Still, small price to pay for the healing factor, and Logan always seems to pull for the lamb-chop look pretty well

Nothing wrong with this.... Wolverine rocks them well

Can't think of why you would be thinking he was bi, I actually really think it would be a cool turn out to be bi, I mean there's nothing in his history that negates the possibility. Whoever wrote that issue would have to be very careful about how they handled that it though, it would also probably drive away some readers and I know that FOX News would make a thing of it- they made a thing of it with the biracial ultimate spiderman or something like that. That is probably just my gay talking though. Also, I hate Daken, very much so.

Is this in reference to the GuttersSchism gag? (see sblock)

No but seriously, Wolverine has been around for a long time and has done a lot of hard drinking. I'm sure he got curious at least once, if only cause he took the wrong "lady" home during one of his layovers in Madripoor. He's a sucker for a redhead. ANY redhead.

F-ing ROFL

I guess I could say 2 guys (was it 3 guys?) 1 hammer, that was kind of twisted.

I just watched a video on the recommendation of a friend that consisted of a woman stealing a chicken from a grocery store in Russia by carefully concealing it in her vagina. Somehow this was considered art. This isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, it's not bad by any means, I've just had this on my mind for the last few days. Google: chicken vagina art

Posted it before, I'll post it again.

Well, first of all, TheAmazingAtheist kind of annoys me, but whatever. But there actually have been reports of rape, well, at least there's been one report of rape in Baltimore. I liked the goals of the Occupy movement in the beginning, I was all behind that but to be honest didn't really pay that much attention to it. Then I heard about this rape at Occupy Baltimore and I decided at that point that this whole thing had probably attracted too many of the wrong kind of people. But, yeah, I've never really liked Frank Miller (as a person) so this made me laugh. Thanks for posting.

Edit: I was about to add a link to cite my source as far as the rape charge goes but I found a page that said that the rape allegation was unfounded, I don't care enough to investigate further. Eh...

Edit Edit: @Wattup I'd also be really interested to hear what Alan Moore has to say about Occupy...

I watched the Wolverine anime and absolutely hated it, everything about it made me want to vomit from my eyes so when I saw the X-Men anime was on I avoided it like the plague, eventually I caught some random episode and I actually liked it. I haven't watched it again since then but I actually should sit down with the series at some point. I don't like Iron Man so I didn't even bother watching that series, from these comments the consensus seems to be that it's shit so cool, I guess.

I'd really like to see a Green Lantern movie, also, Constantine, except, you know, one that doesn't suck.

Aren't there Gwen Stacy clones running about the marvel back alleys or something? Clones, I know, but still.... I was about to say Cable but they're bringing him back aren't they?

OH WAIT, Jean Grey! Done.
