Not true at all. If anything, Hitler was an AWFUL military leader. A political leader is something different, he was great at getting power and the love of his people. But wasn't it him who decided to stop bombing RAF airfields and beginning to bomb British cities during the Battle of Britain, even though Goering urged him not to. Wasn't it him who decided to declare war on the Soviet Union and the US in the same year? And didn't he INSIST on attacking Stalingrad as merely something that would be good propaganda, a battle that lost him the war in the East. Wasn't he the one who withheld German Panzer divisions from the Normandy Beaches because he was sleeping? And didn't he sacrifice everything in one last gamble to win the war during the Battle of the Bulge? In July 1944, there was a plot to kill Hitler not because of the moral issue of him trying to exterminate an entire race, but because he was such a poor tactician. The Wehrmacht was the finest army in centuries but it's downfall was that it was led by a madman."
Speaking of Hitler, the Japanese Empire was pretty strong during WW2. They bascially took over most of main Asia.

They were pretty strong but, even though Kamikaze is a good way of destroying boats, it doesn't feel like a right move to do fro an army.
