Preparing for Bad-@$$ery 1

Good:The story instantly ups the ante from the last issue:-Aquaman is conflicted about sides, and tries to prevent total war-Orm (or Oceanmaster) leveled up from pre New 52 (btw, how long is the New 52 "new"?) and took out the league with his control of the storms and the sea, not to mention Atlantis' army and an army of his own-Cyborgs conflict between man and machine is delved into, to help save the team, he gives up his remaining lung for upgrades, and only has a human brain and heart remaini...

Another Bat-Event 0

Story--After a year of absence, the crown prince of crime has begun to torment Gotham's dark heroic society once again.Good--the perfect time of year for a dark story to start, Joker arrives in this dark gritty story just in time for halloween. Everything in this story s creepy, it actually frightened me at times.-I know i've been saying this alot lately, but again, i love this comic's art. As simple as it is, it gets all the emotions and fear into the characters and gives the reader images even...

Old Ghosts 0

Story--It's Halloween in the Fortress of Solitude, and one of the Phantom Zone's prisoners is Haunting Kal-ElGood--This is my favorite Superman comic of the new 52, the art is haunting and Grant Morrison's story-telling is still wonderful-We see more "skeletons in the closet" of Jor-El, so to speak, which is cool, and it's not as past-oriented as Superman #0, and we learn more about the Phantom Zone, how it works and it's history, which only means Zod is right around the corner somewhere.-A new ...

Choose your own Reality 0

Story-- Dr. Manhattan is watching a reality where Jon Osterman he didn't get vaporized into a Super-being, and how every little action has a reaction that can change the world.Good--First off, this is my favorite cover of Before Watchmen so far. Among my favorite comic covers of all time (others including Batman and Robin #6, Ghost Rider #21, The Question #2, and The Power Of Shazam #1) I like it's classic 30s comic look, and sci-fi-ishness, and even though its only mentioned in a few panels i t...

Team Uncanny 0

Yes, I sided with the X-men. Cyclops, Iceman, and Colossus are bad@$$, Emma is pretty, and Namor joining was quite fitting. I like them, they were the underdogs, and their moral standpoint made more sense to me.So onto this comic, Captain America is forming a team of avengers and x-men to "set an example of cooperation" between mutants and humans.Good--First off, Marvel Now isn't a reboot. I wasn't sure if it would be, and i apologize if they announced it, I don't really follow marvel any more b...

ThunderStruck 0

Good:This Comic is all about Shazam, and i love me some Captain MarvelThe art is great, I like the coloring and overall look of it. Has a very Magical Vibe, and it really brings you into the storyBilly finally receives his powers and is ready to save the day. They also finally give us some more knowledge on the word "Shazam", apparently he won't change back and forth between god-like being and jerk teen unless he says it with "Purpose, Belief and Good Intentions"Personally, i liked the cover. I ...
