This is my wishful dreaming. Apparently a character gets kicked out of the Jean Grey School in the new Uncanny X-Men Volume. on some forums is it assumed that Storm gets kicked out and that UXM takes place after Wolverine and the X-Men and All-New X-Men. Could Storm actually be the one to get "kicked" out or decide to leave the school and start UXM with Psylocke as the team leader but she also gets another new book where she creates a team of young x-women?

Its a long stretch but maybe as hinted in ANXM #4 when the Past X-Men ask who is in charge and both Storm and Logan state that its them, it eventually leads to a butting of heads and fight for leadership position? Therefor Storm elects to leave and that is why she is going through so much as stated by the UXF writer.

Thats my two cents... and possibly an over analysation of solicitations.

To me it feels like this book is trying to recreate a team that has the original X-Men. We have Mimic with Angel's Wings, Beast, Ice-Man, and Rachel in place of Jean. All thats missing is a Cyclops type character. I think Gambit will leave this book soon. He is in the Astonishing X-Men team living off campus and will be going on his own solo mission in his own book.

I hope Dust gets more attention on the Utopia side. There is a reason she stayed behind I would love to know why. At the end of Young X-Men she was very powerful with the Phoenix Force it would be interesting to delve into her.

THIS

THIS TOO

when did dust get the phoenix force i remeber she was cured by tatto using a phoenix tattoo

She didn't technically because it came from the tatoo but it did give her a huge power boost

@lovelyamy: Storm has been seeing a push and I don't think it is coincidence especially with a big X-Men/Avengers crossover coming up next month "crossing my fingers for more". As for Rogue and Storm I would love to see their teams face off or meet during a mission and Storm and Rouge really have a heart to heart or fist for lightning bolt.

The up comming event will either kill Hope, bring back Jean or both I also don't count out a Phoenix force Wanda mix as the "big" badguy that brings everyone together. Even though I loath Bendis and Fraction I'm hyped about this event.

I'd love that, unfortunately the Security Recon Team wont be featured during AvX as Gischler never got invited to the AvX meeting.(LOL)

I think the Security Recon Team is not included to give more stories between ReGenesis and AvX. I'm sure each character will be included somewhere in the fighting.

My understading is they are there to look after the streets of San Fransisco and train the last of the recruits. But adding to them would be cool. I just wish we could see them in one of the books.

Impressive blog...

I have a few questions. So would characters like Dust and Mercury fall under Alpha Mutants? Both are extremely powerful but Mercury is hampered by her physical outcome of her mutation. So would she drop a level to Beta?

And mutants like Surge that has a lack of control and needs the use of gauntlets to help her control her powers, would it be right to place her (them) within Gamma as the gauntlets make her life slightly more difficult as she can put many in danger or would she be a Beta much like Cyclops?

Lastly, does a mutant levels change as one ages depending on the better control they gain? Say Surge were to gain full control and not need the gauntlets would she move up a level?

You make a good point. Would Rogue not have left after the Schism and before the Regenesis? That would put the Legion arc after the Schism. But then when did the Age of X arc occur? It could be a mix-up with the continuity. I've tried to understand it and don't see a solution unless I've missed something somewhere.

If you havent read X-Men: Legacy #260 yet then what I post will maybe spoil the issue.

As of X-Men: Legacy #260 Ariel the teleporter is back and at the end she leaves with Rogue for the Jean Grey Academy so it looks like Wolverine's team gets a teleporter now
