@captain_superior_blue: I think it is worth picking up in single issues. Murphy and Snyder are really good about giving each issue its own weight and worth. They make sure that each issue reveals information that pushes the story forward so you never feel like you just read a filler issue.
Peter Parker will return!! Its just a matter of time. Although Dan Slott tries to conceal this, He loves Peter Parker. If you've read the comics that Slott has written both in Amazing and Superior it should be obvious that He is rooting for Peter. Its a writer's dream to get fans to react passionately to their work, thats why Slott is writing such a strange and entreating Superior Spider-Man story arc. By the time this is all through and Peter is back, we're going to see a changed Spider-Man who does things differently to a certain degree and a Spider-Man who has become an even greater hero than he has ever been. SpOck has made a few improvements in how he handles crime that I'm sure Peter will integrate into his crime fighting while keeping his traditional heroic qualities. Also it is a little refreshing to see SpOck see the error of his past ways while he sets out on his mission to redeem himself
I understand when someone complains about getting a characterization wrong, but as far as plot points anything goes. I love Superior Spider-Man, the new 52, and the way Marvel and DC are doing things right now.
@ptigrusmagus: I'm so excited to read this now! I'm a huge fan of the Superior Spider-Man, but I still miss Peter Parker. I can't wait for him to return in Superior Spider-Man
