Right. About me. Hmm..I hate these types on questions (you know, the ones teachers ask every freaking year).
But what the heck, I guess I've got to fill this out one time or another.
For starters, I'm not giving up my real name. Not because I'm paranoid or anything, I just don't want to. I'm weird that way. So if you want to stop reading now, I won't hold you to it (except I totally would). I'm semi-sarcastic (semi because, hey, sarcasm contains truth, does it not?). I like reasoning behind parenthesis (I think we've established that point well enough, but for your sake, I'm going to start writing like a normal person now).
Right, normal person. Well, if you're still reading, thanks I guess. Okay, now that introduction to my little quirks is over, I can now tell you that I just passed my teen years a few months ago. Also, I'm a girl. And Spidey is my favorite superhero, in case my username is not enough clue to point that out. I've been into comics since I was 5 years old, I think. Those color-filled adventures led me to books. I treat them as my introduction to reading, and not the "See Spot run!" on my 1st grade books. Most of my teen years though, I've been out of the comics world...and I don't know how to explain how it happened. I guess my family was worried I'd turn into some boyish superhero fanatic if they didn't take away my subscriptions and monthly issue of Wizard magazine. But we're long past that. Because during my late teens, I've renewed my love affair with comics (not that I ever fell out of love from it).
I have been trolling comicvine forums long enough and using it for my comicrack automation. Yeah, that's right, mostly my copies are digital ones. And yeah, my real life, tangible copies have been taken away. No worries though, I'm re-building my collection. One glossy comic book page to the next.
Now, what else can I say? This is why I don't like "about me" sections. I always run out of things to say. I mean, when you find out that I'm not going to dress up as wonder-woman and moon at the passing cars, you can just leave me alone to my boring self. Nah, just kidding. :) Anyway, for real, I've ran out of things to say. Gosh, if you're still reading, you deserve a freaking award or something. A medal. A trophy. The whole freaking world. Well, that's all for now folks. I hope to meet more of you guys, in this wonderful comic community where people don't look at me like I have two heads when I say that Mary Jane Watson was not Peter Parker's first true love. LOLOLOL.
