Hope was merely a plot device intended on "replacing" the original Jean Grey and bringing back the mutant population... Once that was done, writers didn't know what to do with her since she had done what she essentially created for, so they placed her in another book as a side character...
Plus, Marvel have brought back the ORIGINAL albeit Teen Jean Grey...
Why have a clone/granddaughter/alternate reality version of Jean Grey when you can have the ORIGINAL even though she is a teenager...
Yeah, Bendis wasn't the best choice for an x-book. His run on both Uncanny and All New X-men have been incredibly slow and repetitive, clunky use of time travel as a narrative device, anti-climatic conclusions, and a certain disregard for past continuity and characterization.
Is anyone else bummed about this day and age of x-men? I mean, they're all viewed as a villain, the family is broken, and all they do is fight each other. Hell kitty is dating star Lord... I just really miss the days when the X-men fought villains, when they taught children math and flight classes, and when they sat back and enjoyed each other's company
