@gc8: True. Personally, I think that it would have made for a lot more interesting plot twist in the relationship if it wasn't an embarrassing bit that Buffy, Giles, and Joyce tried to forget but rather if Giles and Joyce had actually gotten together from the incident.

Or at least for maybe a season or so rather than a one night stand sort of thing that was because of mystical candy rather than alcohol.

Definitely wasn't the greatest of BtVS episodes but I have to admit that I did like the fact that Giles and Buffy's Mom got it on as a result of it and there was some funny scenes with Principal Snyder. Buffy finding out about it later and freaking out of about it was the main thing that made this episode so memorable for me.

For me, this episode wasn't quite too bad. Right up until the part where McCoy was driving Spock's body like a remote control car. That was around where I decided that the writers weren't pushing things; they had pretty much kicked it out of the stratosphere.

Definitely one of the worst episodes in the TOS along with "Miri". I actually thought that "Charlie X" was one of the episodes that wasn't totally bad. It had its moments.

@cellophane_girl: Thanks! I also have another list for green guys too if you ever spot any.

I enjoy reading your lists too by the way.

I always thought this was one of the odder episodes. Sure, I liked the fact that they actually didn't have her slaying vampires once more but there were a few odd points to the plot that made me scratch my head.

Overwise, I totally agree. It's was a decent but not overwhelmingly great episode and was more for filler than anything else.

I can understand the idea behind robotic probes for further exploration with all of the inherent problems with space travel and human beings. Distance, travel time involved, supplies, and the stresses of space on the human body make it hard for a manned probe to be launched into the black unknown.

I find it hopeful that they're at least, pushing for space exploration. Eventually, the technology may progress that travel like Star Trek will not be unthinkable.

Good review!

I thought that Kendra was a very interesting and very different sort of Slayer who definitely had staying potential as a regular guest star. I would have had Kendra pop up for a couple more episodes rather than having her replaced her with Faith so quickly.

Faith was a semi-decent replacement but she had some weak storylines here and there even before she went off the rails as the "Dark Slayer".
