I don't know where to start. I could write a novel about this topic. I've hated the Avengers since House of M. For the past 7 or 8 years after, the X-Men have been knocking it out of the park. The X-Men were a delicious cake, then the Avengers came and shit on that cake and had the nerve to call it frosting. AvX is possibly the lowest thing I have ever seen in Marvel history. I know it was written by a bunch of people but it stinks like Bendis. That hack needs to be fired. The only way I can put up with AvX is to pretend it isn't canon and make up my own storyline.

Wanda didn't cause House of M / Decimation. It was Franklin Richards and the Fantastic Four.

I liked all the fallout from the event but there was always something that bothered me about the event itself. It seemed like "No More Mutants" was a "beat" the writers were trying to get to but didn't have enough panels to do so. It's abrupt and it doesn't really link to anything else Wanda says.

The Fantastic Four were dead in the House of M. This is never fully explained, as far as I know, but it seems like they died in the same event that gave them their powers. Franklin Richards is present though and being taught by Emma Frost.

My idea is that Reed sends all the supers to an alternate dimension (House of M) created by Franklin to prevent an extinction level event involving all the super powered beings powers being used against planet Earth. The F4 stay behind and Reed quickly realizes he can not send all the mutants and is forced to unleash the ultimate nullifier on the rest of the mutant population to take away their powers. Franklin, not wanting people to think poorly of his father, creates an elaborate ruse that pins the blame on the Scarlet Witch. When everyone one returns from the dimension, the mutants are already depowered and Franklin mind wipes the events from the F4's memories to prevent them from admitting to what they've done.

When you think of it, Franklin Richards is the only one powerful enough to make House of M happen. Scarlet Witch lacks the telepathy to mind wipe everyone and I doubt she could coerce Xavier into doing it for her.

This reminds me of the plot to the movie "Identity" which, if you've seen it, doesn't end well. Apparently Nemesis isn't a fan of John Cusack movies.

Reed represents that stereotype that smart people have no emotion. He's Marvel's Sheldon Cooper. I'm surprised nobody has accused him of having Aspergers Syndrome yet.

Captain America, Iron Man and Wolverine have all been Marvels biggest villains at one point or another. They represent Moral Elitism, Corporate Corruption and Unchecked Aggression. People that are capable of imposing their will without taking into account the feelings of those around them are villains not heroes.

I'm only really excited to see Karma and Match. They seem to only be using the students that have been in comic book limbo the shortest. I feel bad for Gentle and Indra. I'd rather see them come back than Rocktard, Fem-T1000 and Kitty Pryde versions 5 and 6.

I hate her silly outfit that she had in the 90s. Supposedly they tried to change it when everyone got new costumes when adjectiveless X-Men came out but due to the popularity of the cartoon they quickly switched back. The yellow jacket and shades are ok but they looked awful with her stupid jean shorts and pink shirt. Her outfit was a direct rip off of Robin because she was supposed to be Wolverine's sidekick for a time in his solo series. I like how she is now though. Original powers or vampire powers, it doesn't bother me either way. I'd say she's one of my top 10 favorite X-Men.

Kitty Pryde sucks btw.

Is it just me or does Husk age slower than everyone else in the X-Men? Every time she's in a relationship the guy is always called a pedo. I know Marvel has the stupid sliding timeline but she joined Gen X alongside M yet M has been depicted as an adult capable of having healthy relationships for years now. Even Jubilee is at least a mother figure now. I'd be called a pedo for liking her even though she made her first appearance almost a decade before I was born.
