Captain Atom Vs. Superman

One on one battles, Captain Atom in his most powerful form/incarnation, is there any Superman that can beat him?

Gold

Prime

Kal Kent One Million

All Star

Beyond Earth One

New Earth

New 52

Monarch

Besides guys light the light entities/Spectre/Michael/Lucifer Morningstar, Lords of Order, etc. I think the Supermen and Cap are probably the strongest DC characters. No cheap tricks like Kryptonite, just brawn on brawn, speed on speed, battle of titans, who wins?

CrossGenesis

Who is the woman on the cover of CrossGen's CrossGenesis #1? Also, who's on the cover of Mystic #1? I can't find any info.

Marvel Armageddon

With recent issue of Uncanny X-Men showing a future where Apocalypse clone Genesis wreaks havoc, and flashbacks to possible futures all over articles about the future, can it be that most of the heroes and villains will soon die, leaving only super survivors like Wolverine and Hulk around? If it weren't for a few favorites of Gambit getting killed, I'd be all for it. However, I still wouldn't mind, considering that all the cooler characters would have more sway in the story lines. I would expect several continuities to merge, like Wolverine leading a team (ahem, Regenesis anyone?) and Hulk surviving, and guys like Thor going back to their heavenly realms, leaving mortal brutes and savages to both save and destroy the world. And am I mistaked, or is Quentin Quire the future Phoeniz avatar based on his shirt in Wolverine and the X-Men 4 in the flash forward? Hope dies? I'm okay with the immortal unkillables leaving Marvel by means of the Thors going home and Onslaughts dying, so no one dude just whips a Serpent God of Fear out of his pants and just kills anyone. I'm good with Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man, and other 'cool' guys to make fans happy. But I don't want to boat rocked too much. I'm guessing Cyttorak might get the boot, with Colossus's previous form restored and his future unsure. I think it will be interesting. Somewhat on the point, does anyone like Venom? Anyone see how cool the new Scarlet Spider is? I'm expecting (and hoping) for a lot of cool new ungodly guys like this to help the favorite powerhouses/tactical/whatever role they have to play guys, for more colorful, fulfilling stories. All predictions, which I've put a lot of thought into...... In the end, people seemed to like the post apocalyptic storylines, and having only fan faves seems like a great idea and just having weaker side guys, and third, if at all (hopefully) relevant, post apocalyptic storylines are easy places to put zombies. Zombies are in, and always fun......Just speculating.......

Should Marvel have a reboot event?

DC is having the New 52, and people are annoyed at so many deaths and ressurections in Marvel. Furthermore, there are complaints about characters that "just suck" or they don't like things that just don't make sense. I also am bothered by the ineffective Ragnaroks. Let's just have one, big Ragnarok, wipe the slate clean, and just keep what we like. We are coming to another X-Men dominated era, I think. Avengers and stuff had its definitive comeback, but the stories are repetative, and so killings keep happening. They should keep a small bunch of Hulks, Iron Man, and then just roll with it, let X-Men dominate, keep the Fantastic Four alive because they are Marvel's first family, keep Spidey and Kaine around, and maybe a few others. The infinite roster of varied non-mortal characters will soon have nothing left but to snap their fingers to fix all the problems. And if they're so interesting, why aren't they good enough to make games with them in it? Rosters are small compared to older games, and technology is further along than 10 years ago. Too many clone characters, too little story telling, in the end the Thors and Hulks reign and only godlike intervention can magically change things. Sure I enjoyed those stories, but without a true Ragnarok, they will NOT top Fear Itself. Ever. It would have to be the true Armageddon to top it. And then it would just be over. Give me less Quasars and Gladiators and fake deities and let's just have Cosmic Wolverine or something. The battles are like Dragon Ball Z, but no one ever wins. It just keeps repeating itself, with no decisive winner. Dead means dead. Move on. bring on the chaos of comics. Does anyone else want a Marvel reboot event, maybe for a different reason? Should Marvel have a DC New 52 style reboot? And Why? In my opinion, they should, but on a much smaller scale. 30 comics would be plenty.
