There is a possibilty the Morbius and Bloodbath could be related.
Both suffered from a rare blood disease. Both must feed on blood to survive.
This might give a little info about Morbius's background. It is not mentioned what part of Europe Morbius is from, but it is stated that Bloodbath's mother was from Translvania. Also it is not stated who Morbius's dad or mom were or if he had any brothers or sisters.
We know that Bloodbath's mom was named Karla. But it is not known what her maiden name was. Could it have been Karla Morbius. One possiblity is that she could be the sister of Micheal Morbius, making him Bloodbath's nephew.
It is not sure what year Bloodbath was born, but it was stated that when he was a teenager, it was the fall of communisim in Russia in December 1990. The event which him and Morbius meet was in 1993. The time Morbius was changed was in 1970.

Morbius was suffering from it and trying to find a cure for it. As well as Eli, Bloodbath's father was trying to find a cure for both him and Karla.
So far the side effects of the disease differ. Karla was suffering from the diease and was showing signs of vampirism. Karla died after giving birth to Bloodbath.
Bloodbath was born with the disease and suffered from major deformity such as his facial feature and the blood feeding spikes growing out of his chest. His vampirism was unique because not only did he feed threw his chest, but he feed on only certin types of blood to stay alive. As he got older he needed a special suit with a chemical in it to keep Bloodbath alive.
When Morbius had the disease, it is unsure if he was showing signs before he gave himself the electroshock cure with the blood of a vampire bat. The electoshock could have just gave him the traits and abilities of a vampire bat, and could have just speeded up his disease. In the Spider-Man Animated series, Morbius's background stated that his old country was suffering from a rare disease, and that bats could have been the cause of it. Like snake venom being the cure for snake bits, vampire bat blood could have been the cure for the bat disease. This could have been a subject untolded in the comic world of Marvel. Also if Morbius didn't give himself the electro shock treatment, would he become deformed like Bloodbath? The electroshock treatment could have also gave him a blance between the disease and the bat blood, which could give him a broader choice of blood to feed off of unlike Bloodbath.
