@iragexcudder: It all depends. The Hood has gone through for major power shifts since his creation.

1. He started off as a street level thug who has several talents such as mastery of small arms, organization skills and planner.

2. He obtained a cloak and boats from an inter-dimensional creature that granted him the powers of invisibility and walking on air. This powers later grew in that he no longer had to hold his breath to stay invisible. He also discovered that the cloak bound him to his power source, Dormammu, enabling him to transform into a half demonic form that allowed him to go toe-to-toe with characters like Wolverine and the entire New Avengers roster under Luke Cage. These powers were removed from him by the Sorcerer Supreme, severing his connection with Dormammu.

3. With Loki's help, the Hood acquired the Stones of Norn. According to Loki, they have the power to make him anything he wants to be. Parker has used them to power up his weapons and gain powers to replicate those given by his possession by Dormammu. They have also been shown to power up anyone he desires. The removal of these powers appears to cause harm to those who have been empowered.

The Norn Stones also show the ability, similar to Thor's Hammer, impossible to lift by anyone other than the chosen bearer.

The Hood lost the powers of the Norn Stones when Loki retook possession of them to empower the heroes in their attack on the Sentry.

4. Finally we have the Infinity Gems.

The Hood had demonstrated various abilities through use of the Infinity Gems.

  • The Yellow Gem of Reality allowed him to fulfill his wishes by distorting reality (such as turning the floor of the Baxter Building to water to dispatch Thing and to heal the facial scarring of Madame Masque) to his whims.
  • The Blue Gem of Mind endowed him with vast psychic and telepathic powers, sufficient to beat Professor X in mental combat.
  • The Purple Gem of Space allowed him to exist at will at any place, or all places, and to teleport people or objects to locations across the universe, as seen when he teleports to an ocean side beach.
  • The Red Gem of Power formerly gave him access to every form of energy and power, which can be channeled through his body to provide sufficient superhuman physicality to easily subdue Red Hulk with his fists.
  • He also used the gems he has to sense the location of other Infinity Gems.

While observing the Hood's actions, Uatu the Watcher noted that the Hood's ability to use the Gems, while impressive, was still limited because he simply thought about using the Gems to enhance his own power rather than really thinking about what he could do with them, to the point of engaging his enemies in direct combat when he could simply will them out of existence.

I'm giving my vote to May, Spider-girl (You said any Spidey). She's the reason I started reading Marvel comics again, though Miguel is easily a close second.

I voted Punisher for this one. Frank Castle had a lengthy tour in Vietnam where his tactical skills and quick thinking defeated a feared enemy sniper, long years of battling both street class criminals and super-powered villains, and managing to evade and defeat several of the Avengers on his own. Punisher is not inexperienced when it comes to fighting long range and accurate marksman such as Bullseye and Hawkeye.

Being that they are spaced apart, GA will of course open with his trusty bow. And, I think this is when Franks combat experience will kick in. If he knows he's outclassed in some aspect of this fight he'll fall back to assess the situation to make the conditions of this engagement more favorable to him. Arrow will follow as Castle finds a position more suited to his liking. Punisher will set ambushes for the archer every step of the way, wearing him down until he's sure he can finish him. If it comes down to CC Frank is absolutely brutal to his foes, utilizing both his standard marine training and combat knives as well as an assortment of skills picked up over the years. With his high pain tolerance he'll have the edge over the emerald archer. If the fight dwindles down to a sniper fight it will be more evened out requiring both Punisher and Green Arrow to keep on their toes, keeping out of any sort of light or back lighting to prevent detection. In that scenario, one slip-up and one shot are going to decide the victor.

In the end I'll say Punisher, 8/10

After having kept up with Avengers Arena and now the Infinity: The Hunt series I realized that their are a lot of new young heroes coming out of the wood works in Marvel. But I don't really see that many new villains to match them. It usually falls down the path of introduce new teen hero, than bring up old villain (Looter, Shocker, Trapster etc.) for them to whip on and show how great they are. I know most of the villains are classics and newer ones don't tend to do that well, but do you think they need to aid newer villains as well to mix it up. And not just ones that work off of the Hobgoblins new villain rental program.

I've watched the film "Zulu Dawn" at least two dozen times and I can't help but see the visual and vocal similarities between Simon Ward's character below. And Ewan McGregors Obi-wan Kenobi. Does anyone have any idea if they are related.

Well Luke's New Avengers were always one of my favorite Avengers Teams, because of the family-like feeling living together in one big house and all. The only problem i have with this setup is that i dont really know or care about any of the characters besides spidey and luke.

I really enjoyed the New Avengers title while Luke was leader. Not sure if I'll pick up this book, but with him taking the lead I am mildly interested to see where this goes.

They could get Aftershock if they think they need their own Electro.
