@spiderbat87: First of all muscularity can actually give you an upper hand in battle on the other hand boobs and butts do nothing but arguably get in the way. And don't give me the "they can distract the opponent" garbage because during a heated fight sexual desires are the last thing on your mind because your sends sends hormones like adrenaline to help you perform better and as a result it doesn't release hormones like estrogen or androgen making that argument invalid.

@Superguy0009e: Thanks for the reply. You got any suggestions for a trade paper back to look if my comic shop has? I doubt they would have back issues of an entire story arc or something considering that its really small.

@aussiebushwacker: @spiderbat87: This is how a guy (me) who never picked up a comic book felt. All I knew about comics are the movies I watched. Sure opinions differ and you are entitled to your own opinion. But so am I.

Yes but which story isn't? All movies, tv shows, books and any other medium that has a hero has a evil counterpart that at the end of the story gets defeated. The villain might get a upper hand at one point but the most basic story mechanic is that good trumps evil.

I agree sex is a normal part of human life, none of us wouldn't be here if sex wasn't around. My point was that books shouldn't be only biased around that. I guess what bothers me the most is the woman portrayal in comics. They all have big boobs and huge asses, something that most woman don't even come near in terms of sizes, than they start throwing in sex and it feels like you are reading a softcore porn.

@CitizenBane: Actually yes i did. The first book left a bad taste in my mouth and turned me away

@Larkin1388: I liked Aquaman #1 but not so much #2 (I was sick while reading it so that might have influenced me). I didn't talk about it because #3 wasn't released yet. I might talk about it next week when I can get a little more concrete decision where my stance and reread #2. Sorry :\

@DoomDoomDoom: Thanks for the kind words!

@shadowknight666: Thanks! It's great to know I'm not alone.

I know this might not mean much to some people but you got to remember that behind each mask there just a human. Everyone make mistakes, everyone has their own personal problems but that's what makes comics so great it shows that even people with godlike powers go through things that we everyday people go through. It shows that no one is perfect. Take what you wish from that but that's what I see in comics.
