Yami Bakura. Fusion of Zorc and Thief King Bakura and arguably the best antagonist of the series. He is the one of the main antagonists of Season 5 and the main antagonist of the original Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duel Monsters TV show overall. He wields the Millenium Ring, which can be used to track other Millenium Items, extract souls from other people's bodies, and forms a permanent bond with the host. He is the archenemy of both Yugi Muto and Yami Yugi.

Marik Ishtar is the leader of the Rare Hunters who wields the Millenium Rod. He is extremely skilled with the ancient Egyptian scriptures as well as Duel Monsters and the Egyptian God Cards. He holds a split-personality who takes over as the main antagonist of Seasons 2 and 3. Marik Ishtar is the main antagonist of Seasons 2 and 3. Yami Marik takes over this role as main antagonist and reduces his alter-ego into a secondary antagonist. For this list, both identities (Marik and Yami Marik) are in the 3rd spot of the list. His Yami side is the archenemy of Joey Wheeler. Marik and Yami Marik are the two main antagonists of Seasons 2. And Yami Marik is the main antagonist of Season 3.

The main rival and constant competitor to Yami Yugi and Yugi Motou is Seto Kaiba. He is the ultimate duelist alongside Yugi. Not really an antagonist after the first season, but since I can't put Dartz here, I added on Seto Kaiba. If I COULD put Dartz, he would be number 5 on the list.

The secondary rival to Yugi Motou and Yami Yugi is Weevil Underwood. He was more of a minor antagonist in Season 4, but was a larger antagonist in Seasons 1 and 2. He uses insect monsters.
