When did Lego shift its focus away from the building and onto the characters? I can get action figures anywhere else and with much more detail. It just seems like strange marketing, shifting slowly away from what should set them apart, but hey, they still make buckets of money so who am I to say?

It's a reversal of Darren Aronofsky's name. The D and "Ar" are switched. It's a play off "The Wrestler", pretty much directly.

This issue was more metaphorical for Buddy and his mental state than a literal addition to the plot. And, pardon this for lack of a better comparison, but it reminds me somewhat of the manner in which Tales of The Black Freighter was used, although I am in no way comparing this series to Watchmen. It is jarring and at first seemingly unrelated, but it reveals more about the titular character than having him punch the hunters three some more.

I love what Vaughn did with first class and the reboot was necessary after X3 and Wolverine but anytime Bryan Singer is mentioned I just feel this gut wrenching pity for the man. What a sad waste of such a fantastic director. He went from classics like The Usual Suspects and the first two X-Men movies to Valkyrie and Jack the Giant Killer. For shame...
